VALUME NOB: Photos From 'Boots' Video Shoot Posted Online

VALUME NOB, the Louisiana based band featuring CROWBAR/DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass, filmed a video for their song "Boots" on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at The Most High (4040 Tulane Ave.) in New Orleans. Check out photos from the video shoot at NolaUnderground.com.

As previously reported, VALUME NOB released an extended version of their previously recorded "The Most High" EP last month through Crash Music Inc. The CD contains the four songs from the original recording as well as two "live" bonus tracks and a 30-minute DVD interview with the band.

In a recent interview with Live 4 Metal, VALUME NOB vocalist Marshall Black was asked if we can expect a full-length CD from the group in the near future. "Yes, no doubt," he responded. "We already have it written. We could have put it out this time. But we sat down and said hey, no one knows us so lets not waste a full record while people catch on. So we did the EP. The only thing we hate about it is our fans want more and we have it and want them to hear it. But we've wasted so much music and time with other labels in the past with other projects that we're trying to do this right. We want to land on a good label and some good tours so we can give our fans what they deserve."

Asked if there are any plans to take VALUME NOB on the road for a full-fledged tour, Marshall said, "Man, we would love nothing more. VALUME NOB would leave today if it were possible. People need to realize that the industry doesn't care how good you are. Man, there's tons of good bands out there. The only way you get big tours is by selling records. That's all they care about is numbers. What the fans need to remember is if you want a band on top, you put them there and that's by buying their records. I was talking to a fan the other night and he felt dissed by a band that he loved trying to talk to them. He thought that it was so cool to talk to me on the Internet for an hour. I told him, 'Man, it's all about the fans.' They are the ones that go to work every day and then spend their money buying a band's record or merch. The fans put us there if they want you there."
